A. Consideration of Load

Explanation:

HS 20-44 represents a three-axle trailer with a total weight of 36 metric tons. Due to its weight distribution across three axles, its load rating is equivalent to the HS 20-44 truck (total weight of 20 metric tons) and both fall under the T20 category.

HS 15-44 represents a three-axle trailer weighing 25 metric tons. For the same reasons mentioned above, its load rating is equivalent to the HS 15-44 truck (total weight of 14 metric tons), and both fall under the T-14 category. B. Consideration of Vehicle Direction

Even with the same load, the force distribution varies depending on the direction of the vehicle and the main beam (I-beam). Therefore, it is important to consider whether the vehicle is moving in a parallel or perpendicular direction to the main beam.
